A Mixed Bag at the Central StayDuring my visit to London, I found myself at the Central Stay, drawn in by its promising location and amenities. I was grateful to be allowed in early, and the gentleman at reception was pleasant, which set a hopeful tone. The room was indeed clean and warm, featuring a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi, which are convenient touches for any traveler. The experience soured quickly. While the location is convenient for accessing the tube, the overall quality left much to be desired. The furnishings felt dated, and despite my relief at the cleanliness, the lack of comfort was glaring. I ultimately decided against staying the night, opting to seek alternative accommodations. While it may serve as a budget option for the location, the trade-off in comfort and amenity makes it hard to recommend. For travelers balancing cost and luxury, this hotel may not be the ideal choice. Proceed with caution if you're considering a stay here.
